Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering is a specialty of engineering that applies the principles of physics, chemistry and mathematics for analyzing, designing, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. Mechanical engineers analyze their work using the principles of motion, energy, and force ensuring that designs function safely, efficiently, and reliably, all at a competitive cost. It is one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines. Every product or service in modern life has been touched in some way by a mechanical engineer to help humankind. This includes solving today’s problems and creating future solutions in health care, energy, transportation, climate change, and more. We at Axis, focused over teaching learning towards the development of applied creativity along with strong networking, leadership, and conflict management skills. Our passed out students achieve great heights in the various domains of Mechanical Engineering after starting their journey as Maintenance Engineer, Quality Assurance, R&D Trainee, CNC Programmer, Design Engineer, CAD/CAM Trainer, Production Supervisor/Engineer, and Jr. Engineer etc.
We have an industry-sponsored Computerized Manufacturing System and Automobile Engineering lab which gives students a real environment of industry in the college. Students made various projects/products like Solar Car, Electric Solar Vehicle etc. and also won many prizes on various platforms. In addition to this, Institution of Engineers India, Solar Energy Society of India & Indian Green Building Council student chapters’ activities helps in the all-round development of our mechanical engineers.
Electrical Engineering
The field of electrical engineering has grown and branched out into a number of specialized categories, including power generation and transmission systems, motors, batteries and control systems. Electrical engineers design, develop, test and supervise the manufacturing of electrical equipment, such as electric motors, radar and navigation systems, communications systems and power generation equipment.
We at Axis Colleges, train the students in accordance with today’s electrical engineers who design electrical devices and systems using basic components such as conductors, coils, magnets, batteries, switches, resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes and transistors. Nearly all electrical and electronic devices, from the generators at an electric power plant to the microprocessors in your phone, use these few basic components.
Electrical engineers at Axis are increasingly relying on computer-aided design (CAD) systems to create schematics and lay out circuits. They also use computers to simulate how electrical devices and systems will function. Computer simulations can be used to model a national power grid or microprocessor. In addition to speeding up the process of drafting schematics, printed circuit board (PCB) layouts and blueprints for electrical and electronic devices, CAD systems allow for quick and easy modifications of designs and rapid prototyping using CNC machines. Students made various projects/products like IOT based automatic solar irrigation system; Solar Energy based Treadmill scooter, solar bicycle, drone, smart dustbin etc. and also won many prizes on various platforms.

Electronics & Communication Engineering
Electronics & Communication Engineering deals with the electronic devices, circuits, communication equipments like transmitter, receiver, integrated circuits (IC).
The Department of Electronics and Communication is one of the first constituents of this college. From the very inception, this department has established itself as an efficient, self reliant and quality conscious entity with the sole aim of producing the most energetic, enthusiastic and professionally competent Electronic Engineers with ability to take up the challenges posed to them. To fulfill this dream, the department is manned by a group of well qualified, conscientious and dedicated faculty and technical staff. The salient aspects of the department such as facilities available, achievements, students’ forum etc are brought out in the succeeding sections. The Department faculty members are specialized in Analog Electronics, Digital electronics, Signals and system, Advanced Digital System Design, Electromagnetic theory, Control system, Digital Signal Processing, Digital Image Processing, Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, Embedded system, Nano technology, VLSI technology, Wired and wireless Networking, Radio and Television, Antenna and wave propagation, Telecommunication, Analog and Digital communication, Linear analog circuits, Instrumentation and Control, Fiber Optical communication, RADAR’s, Microwave engineering etc. This aims to deepen the knowledge and skills of the students on the basic concepts and theories that will equip them in their professional work involving analysis, systems implementation, operation, production, and maintenance of the various applications in the field of Electronics and Communications Engineering. We have an industry-sponsored Texas Instrumentation lab which gives students a real environment of industry in the college. The students are given hand on training on Texas kits for Designing Experiments. CSE (Data Science):
B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Data Science (DS) is a new, exponentially growing field which consists of a set of tools and techniques used to extract useful information from data. CSE (Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning)
Artificial Intelligence involves all those things, in which we can make our computers do the job, that human does. The purpose is to imitate natural intelligence to solve complex real world problem. Machine Learning is making a machine learn on its own without being explicitly programmed. It is an application of AI that provides system the ability to automatically learn and advance from experience. As per the Gartner prediction, by 2020, customers will manage 85% of their relationship with the enterprise without interacting with a human.

CSE with specialization in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning covering the topics of Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Data Engineering and Data Science. Computer Science and Engineering
Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) encompasses a variety of topics that relates to computation, like analysis of algorithms, programming languages, program design, software, and computer hardware. Computer Science and engineering has roots in electrical engineering, mathematics, and linguistics.
Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Axis was laid down in 2010 with an initial intake of 60 students. Ever since its inception, the department has seen tremendous growth in terms of academics, higher education, research & innovation. The department of Computer Science and Engineering is dedicated to provide high quality undergraduate education to the students with the objective of preparing them for prolific careers. The department is committed towards providing academic excellence in the field of education while focusing on the overall development of an individual. Axis boasts of modern state-of-the-art infrastructure. The department has e-classrooms, well equipped laboratories furnished with latest and modern equipments along with the updated software to provide hands on training and practical exposure to students.
The department is strongly supported by a pool of experienced teachers hailing from both education and industry background. There are a good number of Ph.D., NET and GATE qualifiers thereby ensuring a teaching methodology rich with logical & practical approach. The students admitted in the course are beginners but with the balanced blend of technical skills, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and job oriented training program makes them perfect professionals.
The department aims to compliment theory with practical approach by providing assistance to the students for completing summer training projects, encouraging regular interaction with the industry through seminars, guest lectures, conferences, corporate meets etc. The department conducts various coding contests on renowned platforms for the students on regular basis. We have an industry-sponsored Center of Excellence in Oracle and Palo Alto which gives students the real exposure of industry standards and help them in their preparation for industry readiness.
